Borderlands 4 (BL4): World Event Locations & Interactive Tracking Guide

World Events are dynamic, time-limited activities that spawn randomly across Kairos in Borderlands 4 — among the best sources of Legendary gear outside of dedicated Boss farming, with loot quality scaling from Bronze to Platinum based on performance.

All 80+ known spawn points across all four event types are marked on the complete BL4 interactive maps.

The three regional World Events — Airshipwreck, The Goredello, and Creep Impact — each unlock a dedicated trophy when completed for the first time.

How to Find Active World Events

Active World Events are marked by a white triangle icon on the HUD and in-game map.

Events appear randomly after spending time in a specific region — they are not permanently present at their spawn points and despawn if not engaged promptly.

When a white triangle appears, prioritise it before it disappears. A "World Boss" encounter can also appear inside a white bubble across the open world — these are Rift Justice encounters, the most common event type and trackable at every known spawn point in the guide below.

Four World Event Types in Borderlands 4

Rift Justice (Rift Champions)

The most common event type, spawning across all four regions at 70+ confirmed points. A powerful named Boss or Badass enemy spawns inside a glowing dome.

Defeat it within the time limit for a loot drop. Rift Justice enemies can include previously encountered bosses reappearing with their dedicated loot pools, making these among the most efficient random farming opportunities on Kairos. Cuspid Climb has the highest confirmed Rift Justice spawn density — 10+ points across the mountain.

Airshipwreck (Order Airship Event)

Spawns exclusively in The Fadefields, at The Flarewell between The Howl's Launchpad and the Someday Rise Safehouse. Unlocks after helping The Launchpad faction destroy the Order ship.

An Order transport arrives, and the objective is to sabotage as much Order property as possible — eliminate troops, destroy cargo, and board each hovering airship by stepping into their tractor beams. Inside each ship, complete side objectives (shoot running wires, release and defeat Badass prisoners, destroy highlighted systems) for maximum score.

Use Shock for enemy Shields and Corrosive/Cryo for Armor throughout. More destruction completed within the time limit means a higher reward tier.

The Goredello

Spawns exclusively in Terminus Range, northwest of the Reliquary Order Silo in Cuspid Climb. The arena is physically present on the map but only becomes active when the event spawns.

Enter and speak with Harold in the arena centre to begin. Waves of enemies spawn within a time limit — defeating them earns points toward Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum tiers. Optional wave challenges (melee kills, barrel kills) grant bonus time when completed. Reaching Platinum on each round triggers a full loot shower at that round's conclusion.

The Goredello is the most structurally similar event to classic Borderlands Slaughterdome missions.

Creep Impact

Spawns exclusively in Carcadia Burn, confirmed at Stardown Point in Lopside and other Carcadia areas. Hordes of Creeps spawn continuously — kill them to collect the ore they drop, then physically carry and throw the ore into the defence cannon named Patootie.

Each round increases the ore deposit requirement. More ore deposited before the timer expires means a higher reward tier, up to Platinum. At the end of the event, loot chests open in front of Gennifer's bunker alongside enemy drops. Bring a crowd-control or splash damage loadout for efficient Creep clearing.
